In agreement with Forbidden Technologies, Melville, N.Y.-based Chyron announced that it would integrate that company's web-based video-editing technology with Chyron Axis, a package of graphics web services.
This make sense: Chyron's Axis online content-creation software, which is simple enough for most anyone in the newsroom to pick up quickly, is used to create news graphics that keep pace with today's 24-hour news cycles. Adding Forbidden Technologies FORscene's frame-accurate video-editing capabilities takes this everyone-can-pitch-in model further, and now Chyron Axis can be used from any computer anywhere in the world.
