The Surfer’s Healing podcast is part of a monthly podcast series produced by Channel G, a web-based outfit that uses pre-existing footage or shoots new material to produce four- to six-minute videos describing the project goals of fellow nonprofit organizations. Several of Channel G’s videos have been featured at film festivals and on the Plum and Line television networks.
Surfer’s Healing is a nonprofit seeking to enrich the lives of children with autism and the lives of their families by exposing them to the unique experience of surfing. Channel G created this short film by using existing footage provided by the organization for Channel’s G website. The footage was pulled from the HBO special, "Inside Sports," and other b-roll from the organization.
