The Trees Water People podcast is part of a monthly podcast series produced by Channel G, a web-based outfit that uses pre-existing footage or shoots new material to produce four- to six-minute videos describing the project goals of fellow nonprofit organizations. Several of Channel G’s videos have been featured at film festivals and on the Plum and Line television networks.
Trees Water People is a nonprofit working to improve stove technology in Central America to reduce the burning contributions to global warming and the respiratory diseases caused by the toxic smoke produced from biomass burning stoves. Channel G collaborated with Trees Water People to create the video, using existing footage and doing post work with Apple Final Cut Pro software.
