MillimeterAdvanced Media Design Acquires Conferserv

Advanced Media Design, Inc., the world leader in advancing seamless AV-over-IP integration solutions, today announced its completed acquisition of Silicon Valley-based Conferserv, Inc., the industry's most advanced on-demand archival, streaming, and web-casting solutions for video conferencing. Advanced Media Design has imbedded Conferserv's state-of-the-art streaming technology into a series of multi-featured, next-generation products that will debut at this year's InfoComm show, the industry's premier AV and IT technology show, in Las Vegas, June 8 - 10.
Since 1999, Conferserv has been expert in providing innovative communications and collaborative solutions utilizing existing video conferencing technology. The Conferserv team is comprised of leading talent from the video conferencing, IP-based collaboration and streaming media sectors. The group brings a unique capability in understanding and addressing clients' needs when converging traditional video conferencing and IP-based streaming.

In mid-2004, Advanced Media Design assumed Conferserv's U.S. distribution to complement its MediaPOINTE AV-over-IP operating platform and its Western US distribution of Tandberg video conferencing systems. The acquisition process was completed this month.
