Extron Electronics has announced the new CrossPoint 300 Series of Wideband RGBHV matrix switchers. An upgrade to the popular CrossPoint Series, the CrossPoint 300 Series provides a major increase in bandwidth to 300 MHz (-3dB) and now comes with many key features, including Extron’s exclusive Advanced Digital Sync Processing (ADSP) technology and audio output volume control.

"The new CrossPoint 300 Series represents a leap in Extron's continuing refinement of wideband matrix switchers," says Lee Dodson, vice president of marketing for Extron. "These off-the-shelf, one-box solutions are ideal for many common high resolution routing applications."
ADSP technology corrects sync waveform and restores low sync voltage level, ensuring strong and reliable image reproduction with any LCD, DLP, plasma, or other digital display device. Audio volume output control, standard on all models, simplifies system design by eliminating the need for separate audio preamplifiers.
The CrossPoint 300 Series is effective in a broad range of signal distribution applications, including corporate boardrooms, college and university environments, and other high-utilization facilities. It consists of 15 models in eight I/O sizes, ranging from 4x2 up to 16x16, including a new 8x16 size. Each I/O size is available in two versions: "HV" for switching RGBHV signals and "HVA" for switching RGBHV signals and stereo audio.
