Riedel's Performer digital Partyline Series offers a fully integrated, digital 2-channel solution for combined digital matrix and party-line intercom. |
Riedel Communications will present the industry's next generation of advanced intercom technology at IBC stand # 10.131.
Leading the list of dramatic developments in the company's lineup is a complete new series of intercom matrices and an extended range of control panels. The popular, award-winning Performer digital Partyline series will also be on hand for its official European debut.
Next-generation Artist Intercom Systems
Riedel, known for pioneering advanced intercom technology in the broadcast industry, will introduce a complete new series of Artist frames that emphasize scalability and flexibility. Artist is a powerful fiber-based, masterless digital matrix intercom platform for the distribution of analog and digital audio and TCP/IP data. The company's next-generation intercom platform allows all frame sizes to use the same type of controller and client cards, significantly reducing expansion costs and the need for spare pooling. Other enhanced features include a speed boost via a doubled CPU clock; increased memory for complex, multi-node installations; superior alarm signalization; optimized thermal concept for quiet operation; compatibility with other Artist frames; and a flexible fiber option enabling the user to easily change from single to multimode or high-power.
Artist Control Panels
Riedel's new 2000 and 3000 control panel series will join the company's classic 1000 series to offer easily adjustable, wide-ranging control options for any intercom infrastructure. The 2000 LCD series fulfills all requirements of high-quality versatile and economical intercom control key panels. The series is available in 1RU and desktop versions. It features eight-digit, high-contrast, full-graphic LCD displays, showing label and crosspoint level for each talk key. The rackmount panels can be positioned horizontally or vertically.
The Artist 3000 completes the company's control key-panel portfolio and offers a cost-effective solution with illuminated push-button color indicators and marker stripes for easy labeling of the keys.
Performer Digital Partyline Series
Riedel's Performer digital Partyline Series will have its first official European demonstrations hot on the heels of its successful NAB 2005 debut. The Performer is a flexible and powerful system offering the first fully integrated, digital, 2-channel solution for combined digital matrix and party-line intercom. The platform can be used in a standalone configuration or in conjunction with matrix systems such as Riedel's Artist platform. The series is comprised of the C3 2-channel digital beltpack, C44 system interface, and the C31 1x3 split box.
