Tripp Lite has announced that its full line of audio/video UPS systems, power conditioning centers, and surge suppressors is now available in D-Tools' systems integration and design software. Home theater installers/integrators can now choose high-quality Tripp Lite products as part of their overall home automation system bid proposals.
"When designing a home automation system, you need to ensure a reliable, clean electrical foundation," states Dennis Mariasis, Tripp Lite audio/video business manager. "Tripp Lite's partnership with D-Tools helps A/V integrators get it right the first time and every time by implementing Tripp Lite audio/video solutions into every system. With today's degrading power infrastructure and frequent power anomalies, power protection is a necessity, not a luxury."
Tripp Lite A/V series UPS systems include true online, pure sine wave UPS systems in 2RU rackmount and cabinet designs, as well as 1RU rackmountable Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) systems with capacities up to 2200VA. These UPS systems offer such premium features as IP-addressable capability with remote diagnostics, individual outlet control, communication ports, phone/DSL/Ethernet/coaxial line surge protection, extended battery backup runtime capability, and EMI/RFI line noise filtering. A full line of power conditioning centers and surge suppressors is also available with advanced Isobar surge protection technology.
"Our partnership with Tripp Lite allows us to offer system integrators more high-quality power protection products," states Adam Stone, president of D-Tools. "Tripp Lite is a trusted name in the power protection industry, and we are pleased to make Tripp Lite products available as an essential D-Tools download to SI software users and accommodate the growing demand for battery backup home automation support."
D-Tools software, System Integrator 4 (SI 4), enables systems integrators and custom installation professionals to create detailed projects managed with automated proposals, scheduling, pick lists, purchase orders, and additional documents that streamline the integrated installation of audio and video products. By using a single, shared project file, system integrators and installers can pull information from a comprehensive database of tens of thousands of products, giving them the distinct advantage of designing systems using the most current product information, while saving hours of product research time.
