Apr 28, 2005 8:00 AM
Alpha Video & Audio, a visual communications network provider and integrator, held a free seminar yesterday addressing the cost savings associated with integrating the latest audiovisual technologies into corporate meeting rooms.
Alpha's engineering staff led a discussion on the fundamentals of designing an effective meeting space using the right construction materials. The seminar reviewed the latest presentation technologies and demonstrated innovative ways to control an entire room with interactive touchpanels. In addition, the seminar demonstrated remote meeting technologies that provide all the interaction of a face-to-face meeting, without the added time and expense of travel. The features and benefits of videoconferencing, web conferencing, and web streaming were also discussed.
Melanie Beckett, Alpha Video's director of marketing called the seminar "a terrific opportunity to learn the step-by-step planning required when designing a custom AV room integration," adding the seminar gave organizations a chance to receive a “free, no-obligation consultation from Alpha's experienced engineers.”
The free seminar was held from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Alpha's headquarters in Edina, MN.
