OAP Audio Products of Buford, Ga., has introduced the OAP VS8-Series "Vertical Stack" loudspeaker system. This handsomely styled series was designed with flexibility and control in mind. Its finitely adjustable pattern control, full-range tonal reproducing capability, excellent high-output efficiency, and aesthetic appeal make it ideally suited for houses of worship, auditoriums, clubs, sporting venues, and concert halls.

The VS8-Series loudspeaker system consists of the VS8-215 subwoofer, VS8-60, VS8-90, and VS8-120. The VS8-60 (60 degrees), VS8-90 (90 degrees), and VS8-120 (120 degrees) are flyable and arrayable three-way systems, which utilize a 1in. driver mounted to a CNC, machined wooden horn for more natural high-frequency reproduction.

Additionally, they incorporate two 8in. low frequency woofers and two 4in. midrange devices. A passive internal crossover transfers frequencies from the dual 4s to the high frequency, making them a bi-amp cabinet with a power handling of 325W program power and 160Ω impedance. The VS8-215 utilizes dual 15in. woofers that are mounted into the cabinet to assist in longer low-frequency throws.

Additionally, the porting is horn loaded to reproduce warmer base responses. The VS8-215 has a power handling of 2800W program power and 4Ω impedance. The VS8-Series uses OAP specific 2-degree Adjustable Mounting Brackets available to interconnect to other VS8-Series cabinets. All VS8-Series Loudspeakers come with a cloth-covered removable grill and side decorative panels to conceal the mounting hardware. The system is available in black, white, and unfinished.
