MillimeterShure Introduces Listen Safe In Support Of Hearing Conservation

Shure introduced its newly re-branded hearing conservation program, Listen Safe, by announcing that $50,000 will be awarded to three organizations as part of the company’s effort to support its corporate cause. The three organizations are: Columbia College, Hearing Education and Awareness for Rockers (H.E.A.R.), and The House Ear Institute.
Shure introduces Listen Safe in support of hearing conservation, donating $50,000 to three organizations to support public education and research initiatives. “We are in the business of high-quality sound,” says Sandy LaMantia, president and CEO of Shure, “which is why we feel it’s our responsibility to educate our customers, colleagues, and partners in the professional audio industry about the importance of hearing conservation. We are grateful for the efforts of the three organizations that are receiving this year’s donation and feel compelled to support them in these important endeavors.”
In addition to making these donations, Shure Listen Safe will promote hearing conservation by providing free hearing screenings and distributing hearing protection devices at professional audio industry trade shows, music conferences and festivals, and to Shure’s own employees.
