Market leading NBC affiliate in Tucson, Arizona is looking for a Chief Engineer.
Ideal candidate will have extensive television station experience: microwave, transmitter, information systems, maintenance and building planning with a strong management and planning background.
This is a departmental management position responsible for and authority for all technical maintenance, information systems and building facilities. The position includes responsibility for hiring, training, evaluation and scheduling…as well as operational and capital budget preparation and administration.
KVOA is looking for an individual who will provide strategic planning and direction to the station’s technical systems, technologies and operating standards. This position will be responsible for providing technical customer service satisfaction for our internal as well as external customers.
People skills as well as technical skills are essential. Strong management experience a plus.
