CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER
KLAS-TV, CBS, Las Vegas, is looking for an outstanding broadcast professional with one foot in the analog world who can demonstrate leadership, aptitude, willingness and a record of effectively managing change in broadcasting, cable or a related field.
Must have a demonstrated track record of acquired knowledge in electronics, broadcast transmitters, DTV, system design, digital technologies, broadband, wireless, server-based technologies, computers, Telco and cable sufficient to provide leadership in an aggressive, automated, multi-program stream digital facility. Solid, top-line knowledge of computer networking and technology a must.
Minimum of five years experience as a Chief Engineer in medium to large television market or seven years as an Assistant Chief in a large market.
