“Crack the CIA” Wins Audience Award at Sundance Online Fest

The Guerrilla News Network’s NewsVideo “Crack the CIA” won the 2002 Sundance Online Film Festival in the Live Action category. The Sundance Online Festival included films using live action and digital technology to create unique stories.
Directed by Stephen Marshall, produced by Josh Shore & Ian Inaba, “Crack the CIA” is cut to the ambient hip hop loops of DJ Trek-e while at the same time shedding light on the darkest secret of the covert history of CIA drug smuggling.
Guerrilla News Network is an underground news organization with headquarters in New York City and production facilities in Berkeley, California. Their mission is to expose people to global issues through guerrilla programming on the web and on television.
