Da-Lite Screen Company Receives Export Achievement Award

The U.S. Commerce Department presented its Export Achievement Award to Da-Lite Screen Company, Warsaw, Ind. In a ceremony at the University of Notre Dame, secretary of commerce Donald Evans presented the award to Richard Lundin, chairman and CEO of Da-Lite Screen Company.

Secretary Evans stated that the Export Achievement Award is presented to companies who have used the services offered by the Department of Commerce to excel in exporting activities. Da-lite Screen Company is the second company in the state of Indiana to receive this award.

In his acceptance, Lundin thanked the Department of Commerce for its continued support of Da-Lite's efforts to expand its international business into new markets around the world. "The efforts of the U.S. Department of Commerce to keep international markets open, to maintain the flow of goods between countries, and to protect the interests of U.S. companies doing business abroad has been essential to Da-Lite's export growth and is criticial to the company's future developments," said Lundin.
