WATE-TV6 has an immediate opening for a Broadcast Maintenance Technician. Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited electronics school or college with 10 years experience in broadcast maintenance. Must be capable of troubleshooting analog and digital broadcast electronic equipment to the component level in cameras, videotape machines, switchers, microwave, transmitters, and associated terminal equipment. Must have an understanding of computers and microprocessors as they apply to broadcasting equipment. VHF and UHF transmitter experience a plus. Must have a General Class FCC license and SBE certification.
