Video Engineer
Channel 4 San Diego - Cox Communications' innovative, hyper-local television station is looking for a highly motivated Video Engineer to join our team. We are "The Padres Channel," producing 145 Major League Baseball games each season. Channel 4 produces over 200 live events each year, including high school, college and professional sporting and cultural events from two state-of-the-art mobile production units. We also produce a year-round lineup of live and taped programs from an all-digital ENG/EFP, non-linear production facility.
Applicants will have a B.S./B.A. in Broadcasting, Electronics, or equivalent and at least 3 years related work experience in broadcast television production or electronic repair/maintenance of broadcast television equipment. Responsible for design and setup of video production systems. 50% travel. Class B CDL (or upgrade to it) required.
