WLNS-Newscenter6 is looking for a self-motivated, responsible, team player to join our station. The successful candidate must have a minimum of a four-year technical degree, or equivalent experience in television operations and maintenance.
Abilities and experience should include: Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations along with strong project management and computer skills; maintenance and repair of all technical equipment in studio and transmitter facilities/towers, satellite downlink and microwave transmission systems.
Experience in the following equipment a plus: Sony Beta SX tape machines and camcorders. Harris Sigma UHF digital television transmitter, Harris VHF solid state transmitter. Leitch VR-300, video file server. Microsoft 98SE, NT Operating System. Nortel option 11c phone system.
