At NAB 2005, Doremi Labs will showcase the HDG-10 portable HD and SD Video Test Generator. The HDG-10 offers an extensive list of advanced features at an affordable price. It even features a dual-link HD-SDI 2k resolution video output.

Doremi designed the HDG-10 to offer video professionals a low cost portable test generator to calibrate and test video equipment and displays at broadcast, concert, home theater, post, R&D facilities and more.

The HDG-10 provides 15 still patterns and 7 moving test patterns in SD and HD formats at full broadcast quality. It also outputs audio tone, time code and close caption characters.

Video outputs include SDI, HD-SDI and dual-link HD-SDI. Formats include NTSC, PAL, 720p, 1080i, 1080p and 2048x1080. The HDG-10 can also be paired with Doremi Labs' HDVI converter to provide a DVI output.

A special feature of the HDG-10 is its ability to combine any still pattern with a moving pattern to create hundreds of video pattern options. Other useful features include a save function to preserve settings on power off and a lockable power cord connector to prevent accidental shut down.

The HDG-10 fits in the palm of your hand and features four buttons to operate the menu displayed on its LCD screen.
