Adobe Systems Incorporated will host a series of free seminars across the nation showcasing the powerful, newly announced Adobe Production Studio, part of the Adobe Creative Suite family. Attendees will get a first look at the cutting edge of post-production video, audio, and graphics editing, and learn how this tightly integrated suite of products lets professionals meet challenging deadlines on the most complex projects.

In this four-hour seminar, sponsored by AJA, Cineform, HP, Intel, Matrox, NVidia and Studio Magazine, Adobe will publicly demonstrate its new post-production environment for the first time.

Adobe Production Studio Premium edition integrates new versions of Adobe After Effects 7.0, Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0, Adobe Audition 2.0 and Adobe Encore DVD 2.0 with the latest versions of Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Adobe Illustrator CS2. Adobe Production Studio Premium, the first Adobe video release following the acquisition of Macromedia, includes support for Flash output.

Created for video editors, visual effects supervisors, independent filmmakers, DVD producers, animators, event videographers, and design and film students/teachers, this seminar series will teach attendees about non-linear editing, how to add effects, adjust audio, use color-correction tools, and output to any chosen media — all from within a common user interface.

Attendees will also experience the power of Adobe OpenHD certified systems: comprehensive, turnkey systems that give creative professionals the scalability and reliability they need to support HDV, SD, and HD workflows.

Each event will include a drawing to win a free copy of Adobe Production Studio Premium. A fully loaded HP Workstation will also be awarded to one winner at the end of the tour. Following each seminar, a social hour will give attendees the opportunity to ask questions of Adobe experts and network with colleagues.
