New Award Announcement and Call for Applicants
The CINE Board of Directors and staff are pleased to announce an immediate call for applicants for consideration to become the first recipient of the new CINE/Siemens Excellence in Technology Innovation Award, to be presented in Washington, D.C. in conjunction with CINE’s 46th Golden Eagle Awards Event. This outstanding award opportunity is sponsored by Siemens Business Services Media (formerly BBC Technology).
Proposals will be accepted from companies and individuals that have developed a technology or technological process that has produced a significant effect on the production process or has creatively enhanced the viewing experience in film and/or television and broadband.
The winning technology will be selected by executives from Discovery Communications, Eastman Kodak, Henninger Media Services, Clear Channel Entertainment Television, National Geographic Television & Film, Siemens Business Services Media, and CINE.
CINE and Siemens will sponsor a presentation and demonstration of the winning technology to all attendees at the CINE Golden Eagle Awards Event in Washington, DC on April 14, 2005.
