BenQ has announced that it has begun shipping its DV series LCD display model, the 37in. widescreen DV3750. BenQ’s DV3750 offers a native resolution of 1920x1080, ideal for delivering high-definition widescreen format videos without the usual cropped or blurry images that result from standard 4:3 format displays or lower resolutions.
With an 8ms (GTG) response time, the DV3750 produces clear, ghost-free images that reduce fatigue to accommodate extended viewing. Watch the DV3750 from anywhere in the room compliments of a wide 176-degree viewing angle.
The DV3750 offers high-definition picture quality through the use of a professional DCDi video chipsets developed by Faroudja. BenQ’s DV3750 is HDTV compatible (480p, 720p, 1080i), and provides high contrast ratios and brightness levels for a high-quality image.
The DV3750 model features BenQ’s proprietary “Senseye” digital-image-enhancement technology that automatically and dynamically improves image quality by adjusting brightness and darkness levels, creating color-maps to adjust relative color saturation, and reducing jagged edges. Users can select one of four preset modes that are optimized to display different content ranging from video games and movies, to professional multimedia presentations.
The DV3750 is available at an estimated MSRP of $3,299 and can be purchased through authorized BenQ distribution channels.
