Black Friday Prices Announced on VIZIO TVs

V Inc., the maker of VIZIO digital displays, has announced "Black Friday" pricing for high-definition plasma and LCD televisions.

"Thanks to our efficient retail partners and our industry-leading key product pricing, the VIZIO brand has been able to grow three times faster than the flat panel TV market in 2005. This round of special products and pricing will surely continue the brand’s acceleration into 2006," stated Jeff Schindler, V vice president marketing and business operations.

The VIZIO L32 LCD TV gets a $100 price cut to $899.99. The 32in. LCD offers an "Easy-to-set-up Guide," high-definition 1366x768 native resolution, and 8ms response time. Features include built-in speakers, a universal remote control, PIP/POP, 3:2 pulldown, 3D-comb filter, motion-adaptive deinterlacer, component, VGA-type PC, and HDMI video inputs, along with multiple video settings. The VIZIO L32 can be found at Sam's Clubs in-store and online.

Offering 1366x768 native resolution and 8ms response time, the 37in. widescreen VIZIO L37HDTV is great for home theaters and for fast-moving games. Features include built-in HD ATSC and NTSC tuners, 3:2 pulldown, 3D-comb filter, motion-adaptive deinterlacer, powered speakers and stand, a universal remote control, PIP and POP, component, VGA-type and HDMI video inputs, and multiple video. The L37 supports WXGA 1366x768, 1280x768, 1024x768, 800x600, 720x400, 640x480 via the VGA-type PC input and 176-degree viewing. The L37HDTV offers a unique "Zero Bright-pixel" defect guarantee, along with a one year on-site warranty. The VIZIO L37 will be in Costco this week and at Sam’s Club stores in December with a price of $1,499.99.

The 50in. VIZIO P50HDM with 1366x768 native resolution and Faroudja DCDi motion-adaptive deinterlacing produces vibrant, rich 231 billion color deep images. The P50HDM's video processor also features Single Scan Technology for a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, reduced solarization and false contouring along with sharpness improvement, non-linear chroma enhancement, closed color suppression, non-linear scaling, and adaptive contrast and color controls. Its video connections include two dedicated HDMI inputs, VGA-type PC input, and two component video inputs. The 50in. widescreen HD monitor drops in price to $2,499.99 at Costco and Sam's Club. Along with one year onsite warranty, the 4in. deep P50HDM comes with built-in speakers, stand, and universal remote.
