New website bursting with HDV information answers the questions that plague video professionals as they make the move to HDV.
Canopus Corporation (www.canopus.com), leaders in digital video technology, has launched the Canopus Education Site for HDV (www.canopusedu.com) to help video professionals who are considering the move from standard definition to the new HDV format. The Canopus Education Site for HDV includes a Guide to HDV designed to help visitors understand the basics of the format, including a background on digital imaging, how HDV compression works, defining progressive versus interlaced, and how HDV works in a practical editing environment.
"We built this site in order to detail the advantages of HDV and how Canopus products can get your video ready for the future. Simply put, HDV is here and, with a little knowledge, can be as easy to work with as DV," says Ray Brooksby, vice president of sales and marketing at Canopus Corporation.
