MillimeterCrest Animation Studios Installs FrameCycler Professional Site-wide

Iridas, the industry leader in uncompressed playback technologies, announced that Crest Animation Studios has purchased a site license of FrameCycler Professional for its Mumbai facility. With FrameCycler Professional installed site-wide, all of Crest's animators now have immediate access to uncompressed playback at every stage of their work.
"We wanted a unified tool that would address our uncompressed playback requirements across all workstations in our studio," says Krishna Prasad, IT Manager at Crest Animation. "FrameCycler Professional does a great job and also provides good import and export options for all industry file formats."
The facility is so satisfied with the impact of FrameCycler Professional on their workflow that they are considering adding direct-from-disk playback capabilities. "We are also now looking at FrameCycler DDS as our preview system for the digital dailies," says Prasad.

"Crest Animation Studios is India's top animation facility. Their endorsement of FrameCycler confirms the reliability and feature set of the product in a demanding production environment."
Crest Animation Studios Ltd was one of the first studios in India to do a complete a 3D animated TV series, Jakers! Adventures of Piggley Winks, which won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Children's Animated Program. Currently Crest Animation is working on a variety of animation projects for broadcast including Bratz, American Greetings, and Care Bears.
