Digital Vision Announces Post Industry Veteran Dan Germain as Product Specialist

Digital Vision, a leading developer of advanced digital media applications specialising in film and video solutions, is delighted to announce the appointment of post industry veteran, Dan Germain as Product Specialist.
Germain brings a wealth of knowledge to Digital Vision having spent a number of years working in the high-end post production environment both in the UK and Australia in prominent roles with companies including ROOT6, Quantel, Avid and Eyeon. He will be based at Digital Vision’s headquarters in Stockholm and will represent the company’s entire image processing, colour correction, conforming, compositing and editorial product portfolios worldwide.
Germain, who will report to Digital Vision’s VP Sales, Kelvin Bolah, joins Digital Vision from ROOT6 Technology where he held the position of International Channel Manager. His entrance into product management originally began several years ago with a ten year initiation at Quantel, from there his career continued to flourish joining Avid as European Product Manager and then later as Corporate Ambassador for HD. In 2002, Germain left the UK for software VFX specialists Eyeon in Australia as Operations Director for Europe and Asia before launching his own high-tech reselling business.
Germain has vast experience of the creative market in all regions and has particularly close links with the LA post community following his work with product development and engineering specialists AArmadillo. Commenting on his new role at Digital Vision Germain commented, “I have been very impressed with Digital Visions products over the years.
