NAB 2006 Hotel Rooms in High Demand

NAB's reserved room block for preferred hotels at NAB 2006 in Las Vegas is now booked at 53% capacity and reservations are running 30% ahead of last year, association officials announced.
“Due to the high demand, we are advising people to book now if they want to receive the best rates at preferred hotels in the NAB room block," said Chris Brown, NAB senior vice president, conventions & expositions. "Those who do not book soon through the NAB room block may end up paying higher rates at less desirable hotels."
All of the hotels in the NAB block are experiencing high demand, according to Brown.
NAB 2006 will take place April 22-27, 2006, in Las Vegas (exhibits open April 24) and is expected to draw upwards of 100,000 attendees from all over the world. International attendance is expected to top 20,000 people. It is the world's largest electronic media show covering the development, delivery and management of professional video and audio content across all mediums.
