Los Angeles, CA Â-- Building on a foundation of success and originality, two leading companies in entertainment marketing, V12 and Panopoly Pictures, are joining forces by merging their respective design and production departments for even greater creative service. Full Circle, as the new company is known, will provide live-action production, branding motion graphic design, and animation to clients in the feature film, commercial, and broadcast arenas. Leading the joint venture are V12 founder David Hwang and Panopoly Pictures co-founder Kathryn Peaslee. Panopoly's film marketing division will continue to operate as a separate entity.
The collaboration is a natural evolution, cites V12's David Hwang, who first met Kathryn Peaslee when he entered the business. "She was the first person who showed me that type could move around the screen and that there was such a thing as motion graphic design," says Hwang, who started in the print realm as a designer and illustrator. "Working together is a long time in the making and is going to be great. Panopoly is the best entertainment marketing company in the business and this new venture allows both of our creative teams to reach farther and higher on behalf of our clients."
"This exciting combination of award-winning designer/directors from the television, film, and commercial disciplines will combine to create a talent pool which will deliver more creative firepower for our existing and new clients," agrees Kathryn Peaslee. "I am thrilled to collaborate with David and his team, and think this is the natural next step for all of us."
Full Circle includes the aforementioned partners, as well as V12 executive creative director David Sparrgrove, executive producer Jen Lucero, and executive producer of live-action production Bill Hewes, whose extensive commercial background includes executive producer roles at Barking Weasel, 1/33 Productions, and Lucka Films. It is also composed of a core creative design team and directors from both V12 and Panopoly Design. The company will be located in Universal City--close to the heart of Hollywood and the feature film and television industry--with a Santa Monica office for the ease and convenience of commercial clients. Eschewing the typical freelance-based structure, the company will center on a core creative team; one that has collaborated for many years on such exciting projects as X Games, NBA, GSN, and USA.
