Discreet Announces "Advanced 3D and Visual Effects Training" at SIGGRAPH

Discreet, a division of Autodesk Inc., announced today that it will sponsor and teach 3ds Max and Combustion advanced training sessions in partnership with Oregon 3D (http://www.oregon3D.com) during SIGGRAPH 2003. The Advanced Training series will run from Monday, July 28th to Wednesday, July 30th at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel--a 5 minute walk from the San Diego Convention Center. The Discreet Advanced Training classes will allow customers to discover why leading industry experts are using 3ds Max software for game development, motion picture visual effects and design visualization. Artist Gary M. Davis will instruct courses on Discreet Combustion software, as it is used for desktop visual effects, paint, color correction and compositing with integrated workflow for 3ds Max.

Courses range from $99 for one course to $599 for the complete series (when registered before July 11th 2003).

-3ds Max Reloaded: Design and Visualization with 3ds Max and Mental Ray
-Advanced Visual Effects with Combustion
-Storytelling & Animation Part 2
-Brazil: Lighting and Rendering with 3ds Max
-Maxbustion: The Integration of 3ds Max and Combustion
-3D Animation and Rigging with 3ds Max
-Effects Animation with 3ds Max
-Panel Discussion: 3ds Max in Visual Effects
