Mix Foundation Launches New Website
Mar 19, 2003 12:00 PM, Press Release
The Mix Foundation for Excellence in Audio recently redesigned its website and changed the URL to www.mixfoundation.org. The Foundation, which presents the annual Technical Excellence & Creativity (TEC) Awards for the professional music and sound production industry, created the new site to improve user-accessibility and provide a comprehensive resource for those wishing to learn more about the Foundation's activities.
The newly designed site, by Windesheim Design of San Francisco, features a clean, readable style and is easier to navigate, affording greater access to information about the Foundation's fundraising events and the programs it supports. Users can quickly learn about both the TEC Awards and the Mix L.A. Open charity golf tournament, as well as the various organizations that receive Foundation funding for their hearing conservation and audio education programs. The site also includes a database of all TEC Awards nominees and winners from the past 18 years, including special honorees such as Hall of Fame inductees and Les Paul Award winners.
The 19th Annual Technical TEC Awards is scheduled for October 11, 2003 at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York City, on the second night of the 115th AES Convention. For more information about the Mix Foundation and the TEC Awards, visit www.mixfoundation.org, or contact Karen Dunn at (925) 939-6149 or karen@tecawards.org.
