Up-to-date information for camera professionals available online

SYPHA, specialist in professional A/V equipment guides, has launched a new edition of its online guide for professional digital video cameras. The completely updated Pro Digital Camera Guide provides unbiased information on more than 100 professional studio and portable cameras and camcorders, and can be accessed free of charge at http://SYPHAonline.com. The new edition offers a revised search page with quick search by system name and manufacturer, plus a detailed search by criteria including application, recording format, TV standard, frame rate, tapeless recording media, body type, interchangeable lenses, CCD number, CDD size, CCD type, aspect ratio, audio channels, weight, cable/transmission type, digital interface, and cost range with/without essentials.

A summary description and contact details are provided for each product, and in some cases, a fuller specification is available with a product shot and live email and web links. The standardized terminology and format makes for easier comparisons between systems, and listings can be printed out using a convenient print format.

*NLE Buyers Guide - for nonlinear video editing systems and postproduction disk recorders/servers.

*Pro Digital Camera Guide - for professional studio and portable cameras and camcorders.
