In 2006, Allan Luebke won a National College Emmy for editing the documentary film Behind These Walls. Since then, he has graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Journalism: Electronic Media, created a promotional documentary for the New Venture Championship, taught documentary filmmaking to teenagers at the first Documentary Explorer's Summer Adventure Camp, and worked as a full-time video editor for Creative Catalyst Productions. He now works as a creative producer/DP/editor/writer for SportsLife Media, Inc. in Portland, Ore.
Allan's objective is to make neo-realistic narrative films or, what he terms "real life in front of a camera," and his Reel-Exchange profile features clips from some of his short films, documentaries, and experimental technical demos from the last two years. He edits with Apple Final Cut Pro and shoots with cameras such as the Panasonic AG-DVX100, Canon XL-2, XH A1, GL2, Sony HVR-Z1U, and DSR-PD170.
