As part of a thematic tribute to the upcoming Siggraph conference and tradeshow in San Diego, Aug. 5-9, we've selected Chops & Associates Live Animation as this week's Content Producer of the week. Chops is a performance animation company that specializes in serving large companies at tradeshows and special events with live, computer-generated interactive 3D characters.
To accomplish their live, digital puppetry, Chops creates characters using Adobe Premiere Pro, Autodesk 3DS Max, Flash, and ToonMX. The video they've posted to their Reel-Exchange profile exhibits their work via live footage shot at the HFMA tradeshow in San Diego on June 26, 2007. The work sample shows two characters running simultaneously and interacting in real time with show attendees for the Mede Finance booth.
