A graduating videography student from the College of Southern Nevada, Garrett Hammel has worked on many projects for the last three years, logging extensive experience with both SD and HD cameras. Having been DP on several short films—including documentaries, event videography, and fictional narratives—Garrett excels in camera operation and lighting under many different circumstances. Although he is looking for work mainly as a DP, he is also interested in directing or producing, and says there are no limitations on the kinds of projects he can bring his skill and dedication to.
Garrett is also available as an editor, and he is adept at programs such as Apple Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro. Other software he is familiar with includes Apple Soundtrack Pro, DVD Studio Pro, and Adobe Photoshop. His Reel-Exchange profile features a sampling of narrative and documentary footage in both color and black and white. Garrett keeps current on the all the newest technology in the field and is dedicated to making any project he works on the best it can possibly be.
