Although Micah Dahl specializes in music videos, he also creates short films, commercials, documentaries, and is a videographer for corporate events. His home editing studio and access to many film and digital formats allow him to shoot, edit, and author DVDs quickly. A recent graduate of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, he uses programs such as Adobe After Effects, Apple Final Cut Pro, and DVD Studio Pro.
In addition to working with current digital video formats, Micah has an affinity for shooting on 16mm film. He has directed videos for bands such as The Umbrella Sequence, The Seawhores, The Chris Danforths, and The Nina, The Pinta. Micah recently finished work with Olson Advertising on a short documentary for Nike/Bauer, titled Small Town Glory. His Reel-Exchange profile features a montage of the aforementioned videos and more.
