As a producer/director, photographer, editor, and postproduction supervisor at pixelop Studio, Salvador Garza is actively involved in all aspects of the digital-media production process. He works in documentaries, commercials, DVD, corporate video, web/mobile video, and educational/training videos. He is an Apple Certified Pro (L2) and an Apple Certified Trainer for Final Cut Pro and has experience in formats such as HD, DVCPRO HD (P2), DV, Quicktime/H.264, and AVCHD. Pixelop Studio is a boutique-style media production company that has produced in North and South America, but can travel anywhere in the world. Garza is also available as a freelancer.
Garza's Reel-Exchange profile reel is a commercial he directed, shot, and edited for Yucatan's state government. There was no script, it was completely improvised, and shot on a Panasonic HVX200 in about four hours with a crew of two. It was edited and finished in Final Cut Pro in day and a half.
