Peak Pro 6
The venerable Peak is one of the best-loved audio editing programs for the Mac, and the new version 6 adds more than 100 new features, according to Bias. With new customizable realtime volume envelopes and sample-level zooming and editing, Peak Pro 6 adds even more functionality to the playlist. The program’s DSP also gets a boost with the new Perpetual Looper, Voiceover Ducking, and Pitch Envelope tools. Peak’s delivery tools now include direct export of playlist regions to Apple iTunes as well as direct upload of podcasts from Peak as RSS feeds. There’s also better read/write support for metadata such as SMPTE start time.
