S.two offers uncompressed 4K field recording
For the past four years, S.two has made its mark making high-resolution production and post recording gear. Among other feature filmmakers, David Fincher employed the company's D.Mag system during production on Zodiac. Recently, the Reno, Nev.-based company announced the final shipping version of its DFR4K uncompressed 4K digital field recorder. The portable, DC-battery-operated disk recorder uses a single D.Mag4 disk magazine with more than 32 minutes capacity and Infiniband interface that allows it to work with, for example, Dalsa's 4K cameras. www.stwo-corp.com
