While powerful laptop computers make it possible to do much of your post work on the road, high-speed storage in a portable package can still be tough to find.
IStoragePro offers one solution with its Dock View RAID. The drive can hold up to 4TB, yet the finished aluminum enclosure is lightweight, sports a low noise fan, and is even a bit stylish, so you won't mind keeping it on your hotel desk.
Interface options such as USB 2.0, FireWire 400 and 800, and eSATA in configurations such as RAID 0 or 1 make it flexible. It's speedy too, supporting 7200rpm 3.5in. SATA II drives, and an LCD display on the front keeps you up to date. The Irvine, Calif., company claims the device offers write speeds of up to 80MBps, and the two drive bays are capable of holding 1TB, 2TB, or 4TB of storage.
