While working with distorted video or effects such as shadows are all in a day's work for an effects artist, most of the rest of us need help. Red Giant Software's Red Giant Warp could be it. The three toolset plug-ins give control over shadows, reflections, and corner-point warps. For example, the Shadow tool renders shadows for text or subjects shot on greenscreen, and the Reflection tool creates mirror-like reflections. The Corner Pin tool includes features for working with warped images, importing tracking data from Imagineer Systems mocha for Adobe After Effects, and adding secondary transforms and motion blur.
