To appreciate full 1080 HD, you need as large a monitor as you can manage, but not too large as to overwhelm an edit suite. Panoramadtv — the video products division of Wohler Technologies — offers the HDMon-260, a 26in. widescreen TFT display that might be a just the right size, especially because it offers 1920×1080/60p monitoring for field and studio productions. The display monitors digital HD-SDI, SD-SDI, or DVI signals; analog composite, component, and RGBHV video; and CGI images up to WUXGA resolution without the need for optional cards.
