GX-1 DVD/CD publisher
At IBC, Microboards announced the addition of Mac support for its GX-1 DVD/CD publisher, which was rolled out at NAB. The auto-loading disc burner/label printer is notable for its small footprint: At 11.5in. wide, it sits nicely on a desktop beside a tower. The GX-1 connects via USB 2.0 and includes the necessary recording and label design software. The GX-1 does disc runs of 50 or fewer and burns DVDs at 16X and CDs at 48X.
